Join us on this half-day symposium organized by the Uppsala Antibiotic Center in collaboration with Gradientech on the topic of precision medicine with a focus on infectious diseases and rapid susceptibility testing.
The continued rise of antimicrobial resistance is a major challenge to patient management in infectious disease. Today, rapidly emerging diagnostic technologies, an increased understanding of optimal dosing strategies and improved regulatory guidelines present new opportunities for individualized treatments. In this seminar, experts from clinical microbiology, pharmacology, infectious disease and the regulatory sphere will talk about their vision for the future of precision medicine in infectious disease and antibiotic dosing, and the substantive challenges that still needs to be addressed.
